Socialite Sherlyne Anyango Narrates How She Regained Her Instagram After It Got Hacked.

Many celebrities have lost their Instagram accounts to hackers in recent times. Kenyan Socialite Sherlyne Anyango is one of the latest victims of this scheme. Last night, the model revealed that her account got hacked into on 13th March. However, she was able to regain it.

Sherlyne explained that the hacker approached her under the pretense of a business collaboration using a fake Jambo Jet account. The proposal was for her to be a brand ambassador: an offer she readily accepted. The hacker then asked her for her phone number, email address, and ID number. She gave out all the requested details except for her ID number. According to Sherlyne, after she divulged these details, she got logged out of her account and could not access it.
