‘I Had To Do This’ Singer Akothee Shares A Photo Of Her HIV Results Online.

Kenyan Singer Esther Akothee is not one to let bloggers taint her name with fake news. On Saturday, the singer took to her Instagram to address a rumor concerning her health. In a series of posts, Akothee called-out a blog named Hivi Punde TV for writing a news story that insinuated that she is HIV positive. ‘Kenyans up in arms after Akothee fired houseboy who accidentally dropped her ARV tablets during a family meeting’ The News Headlines read.In one of the posts, the singer shared the blogger's photo and blasted her for fabricating the story. Akothee also shared a photo of her HIV results online to prove to her fans that the claim is false.‘2020 December results. For your perusal. Do you need 2021?’ She wrote.

‘Yes I am proving a point because I have evidence. Yes, I had to do this because you are happy with rumors that feeds your ego.’ She added.
