African celebrities who got tattoos for their lovers

There was a time when updating a relationship status on Facebook was the ultimate display of affection. These days, couples declare their love more dramatically and permanently by getting matching tattoos.

Though there is an unwritten rule against tattooing the name of the person you love, it has not stopped these celebrities from doing it. These are some of the famous people who got tattoos for their partners. 

Tanzanian singer Harmonize and actress Frida Kajala K The newest couple in town is very much in love, and they are not shy about it. Recently, Harmonize and Kajala got matching tattoos of the initials of their names on the neck. Kajala tattooed the letter H while Harmonize put a K. Kenyan socialite Amber Ray Socialite Amber Ray has a tattoo of the name of her current boyfriend, businessman Jamal Marlow on her back. Tanzanian Video Vixen Nana and Singer Ibraah Video vixen Nana, rumored to be the lover of Rayvanny after she appeared in his video, recently confirmed that she and Konde Gang singer Ibraah are an item. 

The gorgeous mother of one shared a photo of the tattoo she got of their names: Nana and Ibraah, on her neck. Tanzanian singer Vanessa Mdee and Nigerian-American singer Rotimi Tanzanian singer Vanessa Mdee and her fiancé Rotimi got matching tattoos of their names last year. Vanessa tattooed the name Rotimi on her chest. Rotimi, on the other hand, inked the name Mdee on his arm. The lovebirds also inked the number '1045'on their hands. Would you get a tattoo for your significant other?
