RIP: South African Rapper AKA's 22-Year-Old Fiancé dies in a Cape Town Hotel Tragedy. Photos.

Nellie Tembe, the 22-year-old fiancé of South African Rapper Kiernan Forbes alias AKA, has passed on. A statement released by the Tembe and Forbes families on social media; confirmed that the Nellie passed away on Sunday morning in Cape Town. ‘It is with the deepest regret that we, the Tembe and Forbes families, confirm the untimely passing of our beloved fiancé, daughter, sister, and daughter-in-law, Anele Tembe (22). Anele tragically passed on in the early hours of this morning Sunday 11 April 2021’ It read.The families disclosed that they are in shock and would like privacy as they mourn their loss. The statement also revealed that her fiancé, the rapper is currently grief-stricken, but he is with family and close friends. They described Nellie Tembe as a sweet-natured girl who was always nurturing to those around her. ‘We are still in shock and are dealing with our emotions as she was an exceptional and gifted young woman, with so much life ahead of her. She had a sweet nature about her and was always nurturing to those around her.’

‘Her fiancé Kiernan Forbes is currently inconsolable and is surrounded by family and closest friends. At this hour of our grief, we humbly request that our families be given privacy and time to heal. May her beautiful soul rest in peace.’ The statement read. AKA and Nellie Tembe got engaged on February 21.
