Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko is one of the latest politicians to speak out on the increase of domestic violence cases; in the country.
In a post shared on his Instagram today, Sonko called upon Kenyans to join hands in ending the merciless killing of spouses, children, and relatives. He also advised people in relationships to respect their partners and apologize where necessary.
‘The recent cases of domestic violence involving the killing of spouses, children and even parents like the case of the young man in Kisumu are extremely disturbing and we need to bring this bad culture to an end as Kenyans’ He wrote.
‘The only secret for survival of any marriage or relationship, when your wife ako juu wewe kuwa chini and vice versa. Ukikosa sema pole and vice versa’ He added. What do you think about Sonko’s relationship advice?
