Socialite Huddah Monroe took to her Insta stories last night to share her thoughts with fans.
In a series of posts, the gorgeous beauty argued that the choices we make determine how we live. Therefore, we need to take responsibility for our actions and stop blaming others.
To elaborate her argument, Huddah used drug addiction as an example. She said that addicts have the ability stop the habit by choosing to quit.
‘If someone introduces you to drugs for example. You can choose to stop. And disassociate yourself. But people like to blame people for their own problems, failure and misery.’ She wrote.
She added: ‘Drug addiction is a disease that’s hard to cure. You can’t force addicts to quit. You can take a person to rehab 1000 times they’ll go back to it immediately they come out.’
‘To cure addiction, it has to come from the individual himself/ herself. Otherwise you are just beating a drum to deaf ears and never ending running rat races. They themselves need to come out and say I’m done.’ She concluded.
