Politician Karen Nyamu recently had an intimate baby shower with her close friends.
Karen gave fans a glimpse of the celebration through a post on her Instagram with several photos from the event.
Karen said the event was a surprise, and she had no idea that her friends were organizing it.
Karen further disclosed that she almost missed it because she was exhausted and wanted to go home and rest.
“Yesterday my day 1s did the thing. I was dozing off at antenatal clinic and I couldn’t wait to get home n sleep. So when @bakhita_bakhx tried to sneak in her “Tuesday plan” I was having none of that! haikua rahisi but nilifika to my beautiful surprise baby shower” wrote Karen.
Karen also revealed that the baby shower made her reflect on the good moments with her close friends. She added that they have been by her side through all her pregnancies.
She also thanked them for surprising her and showering her with gifts.
“It was nice n intimate n made me reflect, these girls have been involved in all my 3 baby showers. Going all out n gifting me. Of course nililia hahaha hio ni standard. Thank you babe gals” she added.
Karen Announces Third Pregnancy
Karen Nyamu first announced her third pregnancy in August last year while accusing her baby daddy Samidoh of beating her. Karen did this during a live session on Instagram while showing bruises on her face. In the video, Karen said that the singer beat her and hurled insults at her home while her daughter watched.
Karen further disclosed that the singer hit her despite knowing she was three months pregnant with his child.
"Manyele zangu zinatolewa. You guys and i'm just three months pregnant, imagine. Yani sisi wadem tunakuanga washenzi sana. Kinajua niko naball alafu kinakuja kina nipiga hivi eti niko na wanaume" Karen complained.
Since then, Karen and Samidoh have been sending subliminal messages to each other using Instagram and Tik Tok. Hopefully, they will develop a cordial relationship once the child is born.
