Ugandan Opposition Leader Robert Kyagulanyi, commonly known as Bobi Wine and his wife Barbie Kyagulanyi recently took to their social media to celebrate 20 years of love. 
To honour the day, Bobi Wine shared two throwback photos of himself and Barbie; and gushed at how far they had come. 
One of the photos Bobi Wine shared from a play that ignited their love story in 2000. 
"To 20 years of our love story. Katonda y'abade mweno ensonga!" Bobi Wine captioned his photos on Twitter. 
How Bobi and Barbie Met
“It was around November 2000 at the National Theatre. I was still at Bweranyangi Girls School and we were both acting in a play in which I was the first lady and he was a president. He would escort me home and we would chat a lot. We soon grew close.” Said Barbie during an interview with New Vision Uganda in 2011.
Though Bobi Wine and Barbie met in 2000, they officially started dating in 2001, and they have been together since then. Like any other couple, Bobi and Barbie have had their fair share of marital issues. 
A few years ago, Bobi Wine cheated on Barbie while in London. Later on, the lady contacted him and told him that she was pregnant with his child. This saga created a rift between him and Barbie. 
Bobi Wine assumed the responsibility, and the child took his last name. However, he later took a secret DNA test and found out that the child was not his.
Upon the discovery, Bobi Wine released an official statement denying the child. He also took accountability for his misdeeds and asked his wife Barbie to forgive him. 
Since then, Bobi and Barbie have kept their marital life private. One would think they never have disagreements.
Bobi and Barbie are currently one of the most admired couples in Uganda. Several fans desire the kind of love they have.
