February is considered the month of love. However, this year, it has proved otherwise. We have witnessed more break-ups than we anticipated.
Here is a list of our favourite celebrity couples who broke our hearts with their separation announcements.
Corazon and Frankie
After dating for barely three years and sharing two children, Corazon Kwamboka dumped her fiancé Frankie Kiarie a week ago.
The socialite turned businesswoman announced her split from Frankie through a post on her Instagram with a picture of a black rose. 
In the post, Corazon said that she chooses herself and that life carries on after a heartbreak.
Their break-up shocked many because Frankie had just proposed to her a few months ago while on vacation in Zanzibar. Also, many believed that their bond had strengthened after they welcomed their second child in December. 
Despite their separation, it seems like Frankie and Corazon are still on good terms, and; they are co-parenting peacefully.
Corazon is currently on a solo trip while Frankie takes care of their children at his home. 
Weezdom and Mylee Staicey 
A few days ago, Mylee Staicey, the ex-girlfriend of former Gospel singer Weezdom, informed her fans that their relationship was over.
Mylee disclosed this through a lengthy post she shared on her Instagram. Mylee said that she and Weezdom tried to save their relationship several times, but their efforts were vain.
“As you all know Weezdom and I have been having this on-and-off relationship trying to make it work for the longest time cause of what we believed we felt towards each other plus the many plans we had... But heeee! Ilikataa aki (It didn't work)” wrote Mylee.
In the same statement, Mylee stated that she was single and did not wish to be associated with Weezdom.
“We both don’t want our names associated with each other from now henceforth,” said Mylee.
Her statement upset Weezdom, and he bitterly responded to her via his Instagram a day after.
The singer said she was psychotic, and; she was using his celebrity to "clout chase." He also threatened to expose her and disclose their private conversations.
“Mylee is a psycho mwenye nimevumilia for long but imefika mwisho. Who is she to use my name ajifanye ameniacha na ni mimi nimemuacha? Evidence coming in a few. lemmi give her the clout she needs atrend” wrote Weezdom.
Hopefully, Weezdom and Mylee will soon sort their differences like they always do.
Ali Kiba and Amina Khalef
In the second week of February, social media was awash with reports that Amina Khalef had filed for divorce from her husband, Tanzanian Singer Ali Kiba.
According to court documents, Khalef filed the lawsuit because she did not feel safe at their Dar-es-Salaam residence.
Amina also accused Ali Kiba of adultery, claiming that she got subjected to verbal abuse from her in-laws beginning roughly six months into their marriage.
“The respondent [Kiba] has made a mockery of their marriage by disrespectfully engaging in public displays of infidelity with various women in total disregard of the petitioner's feelings,”
read a part of the court documents.
Amina claimed that attempts to repair their marital problems had been useless since her husband was unresponsive, leading her to believe the marriage was over.
Amina also requested Tsh 4 million in monthly maintenance for herself and her children. She also separately demanded medical coverage for the kids.
Ali Kiba was given until February 25th to respond to his wife's divorce petition. If he failed to do so, the case would proceed without him.
“Should you fail to appear within the time mentioned above, the plaintiff may proceed with the suit and judgment given in your absence,” the court papers read.
Since the release of this information, neither Ali Kiba nor Amina have publicly addressed the rumours.
Cindy and Shaq Youngin 
Shaq The Youngin recently told his fans that his girlfriend, Cindy Kipsang, had cheated on him with Sean Preezy, a close friend and coworker.
The radio host stated that the two are now seeing each other, and he was no longer in a relationship with Cindy.
After his announcement, Shaq shared several posts on his Insta-stories disclosing how he has been hurting. 
In one of the posts, Shaq blamed Cindy for breaking his heart and wished her success in her relationship with Preezy.
He also apologized for his past mistakes that might have contributed to the end of their relationship.
“You messed my whole life, Cindy. My mother and my whole grandmother are thinking I have lost it but for what. I honestly can’t believe all this but I will accept it all. God bless you guys. Sorry if I’m the one that hurt you Cindy, but it was never meant to end as this” Shaq lamented.
Cindy did not let Shaq’s accusations go unanswered. She responded by saying that her relationship with Shaq was toxic and violent towards her. 
Cindy added that Sean was always there to comfort her after: she disagreed with Shaq. She also claimed that she dumped him long before moving on with Sean.
“Nobody cheated on you. it's been a long Since we broke up so who I move on with shouldn’t concern you. SEAN was always there to catch me when you push me to the ground” wrote Cindy.
While Shaq is still mourning, Cindy and Sean are currently serving us a couple of goals on Tik Tok and Instagram.
