"Competition is Good" Diamond Platnumz Advises to Tanzanian Artists

Tanzanian singer Nasibu Abdul Juma Issack, alias Diamond Platnumz recently took to his social media to advise his fellow artists in Tanzania. The Bongo superstar told his colleagues that there is nothing wrong with competing against each other. He added that the competition should not stop there.  Diamond added that they should also compete with international artists if they desire to prosper in the music industry.  Diamond said that creating internationally appealing content would develop the industry and market the country globally.   “Ni sahihi kushindanisha wasani nchini, Lakini ili kukuza tasnia yetu katika medani ya kimtaifa, tunahitaji kushindanisha wasani wetu na wasani wa nje ili kuleta ushindani stahiki utaoleta changamoto za kweli “ ili kufanikiwa kwake kukawe ni Maendeleo na Heshima kwa tasnia na taifa letu” said Diamond. In the same statement, Diamond disclosed that his joy would be to see Swahili speakers from all over confidently admitting that they have good artists. “Faraja yangu ni kufunya kila anaeongea Kiswahili kutembea kifua mbele popote aendapo na kusema “Yes tunaweza waswahili tuna wanamuziki” he added.
