Jokate, the District Commissioner of Kisaware District, received a certificate in honour of her Leadership Excellence in Public service and Community Development.
Jokate shared the news with fans through a post on her Instagram. She accompanied it with a photo of her certificate and a trophy.

In the post, Jokate expressed her gratitude to the Pan African Leadership Entrepreneurship Development Center for acknowledging her efforts by awarding her.

Jokate’s Contribution to Development in Kisaware
Jokate Mwegelo left the showbiz industry after the late President Dr John Magufuli appointed her as the District Commissioner for Kisaware.

Jokate Launches a Sanitation and Hygiene Project
In May, Jokate partnered with the Institute of Environmental Conservation Community of Tanzania to launch a Water and Sanitation Hygiene project in Kisaware District.

Jokate said that the objective was to distribute handwashing materials to 12 schools in Kisaware. She also revealed that it would benefit more than five thousand eight hundred seventeen students, and they would get taught the importance of environmental protection and conservation.

Jokate Initiates an Agricultural Campaign
In June, Jokate gave netizens a glimpse of one of the farms initiated under the Tokomeza Zero Kisaware campaign.

Jokate’s Relationship with Diamond Platnumz
Jokate rose to fame after participating in the Miss Tanzania pageant in 2006, and she got crowned as the first runner up.
She got into a relationship with Diamond Platnumz after he had broken up with Wema Sepetu. However, their relationship did not last long as Diamond later dumped her and went to Wema.
