Regina Daniels Reacts To The Comments About Her After her Co-wife's Divorce Announcement

Nollywood Actress Regina Daniels Has Spoken Out Following The Malicious Comments About Her On The Instagram Page Of A Business Partner Called Jaruma, Hours After Her Co-Wife Laila's Divorce Statement.

Regina called out Jaruma online for using the current situation in her family to promote a product that she has never used.

Regina did this after Jaruma shared an old video of Regina promoting Jaruma chocolates a few hours after Laila Charani announced her divorce from their husband, Ned Nwoko.

The post created a mixed reaction amongst fans as many made unpleasant remarks about Regina and blamed her for the divorce.

Many accused her of using the products to blind Ned Nwoko hence his separation from Laila.

Regina’s Reaction

Regina was displeased by the post, and she took to her Instagram to distance herself from the brand and explain herself.

“This is a notice to my fans and the general public, I and my brand as Regina Daniels has no business/association with Jaruma and her products” Regina stated.

Regina disclosed that she has never used any of the products supplied by Jaruma. She said that she posted the chocolates on her page because she got paid to promote the brand.

“This is for clarity sake. I have and will never use any kayamata product. Jaruma paid me to help make random posts for her. I personally gave my terms concerning the kind of posts to be made, I was very mindful with my choice of words so as not to mislead the public, I was simply creating awareness for her brand” Regina wrote.

Regina added that she and Jaruma became close while doing business, but her friends warned her about the friendship. She said that she gave Jaruma the benefit of the doubt and ignored the warnings.

“Along the line, we became friends, I was warned severally to keep her at arm’s length and mind my association with her but it is not in my nature to judge a person from another’s perspective but in her case I should have known better” she added.

Regina said that she regrets that decision because Jaruma has been using the Regina Daniels brand to promote her products even after their contract ended.

The actress added that she did not mind this at first because she wanted to maintain an amicable relationship with her.

“She constantly uses every opportunity to create contents to profit off my person and my brand even after our payment deal expired. I tolerated it because I believed I understood her person and felt I should give her the benefit of doubt and maintain a cordial friendship” the Actress wrote.

Regina said that she regrets not having cut ties because Jaruma is now using her current situation maliciously.

Regina also distanced herself from the brand in the same post and said her former business associate had taken advantage of her family issues to market her products.

“I will not tolerate Jaruma using this issue that practically portrays me as a bad person for her selfish desires knowing fully well, that I have NEVER AND WILL NEVER USE whatever she sells as I have no reason to” Regina concluded.

Laila told her fans that she was single and did not want to be linked to Ned Nwoko because they were divorced.
