"Let's do a DNA Test" Comedian Eric Omondi Responds to his Baby Mama After Child Neglect Claims

Kenyan Comedian Eric Omondi Recently Shocked the Internet After Publicly Asking for A DNA Test from Former News Anchor Jackie Maribe, The Mother of His Son.

Eric's Request for a DNA Test

Eric requested for a DNA test through a lengthy post that he shared on his Instagram. He claimed that Jackie refused to go for a DNA test after their son was born and still refuses to do so despite asking her many times.

“For 7 seven years I have begged Jacque to allow us to have a DNA Test and she has CONTINUALLY refused!” the comedian stated.

Eric Explains What Happened With His Baby Mama

The comedian further explained that he and his baby mama met seven years ago at a staff party, and they had a one-night stand after they both got drunk.

He also alleged that she was in a relationship with a man identified as Sam Ogina. However, Ogina has denied the allegations saying that he was dating his current wife then and not Jackie.

“So we met at Radio Africa in 2012. I was working at Radio Jambo and Jacque was working at Kiss TV. So one Random night after a Radio Africa Staff Party and after a few bottles of whiskey and wine glasses Jacque and I happened. It was a one-night thing because she was dating KTN's Sam Ogina at the time” said Eric.

Eric explained that he and Jackie used protection. Therefore, he got caught off guard when she told him that she was expectant two months later.

“WE USED PROTECTION!!! After two Months Jacque tells me she's pregnant!!! I immediately ask her how since we used Protection??? She then tells me "It doesn't matter the mother always knows who the Father is and that I am the Father!”

Eric added that they barely had contact during the pregnancy, and; after the child was born, Jackie called him to inquire whether he would co-parent with her.

Eric disclosed that he asked for a DNA test to prove the paternity of the child. But Jackie got hurt and refused.

“During the entire Pregnancy nothing happened and we barely saw each other. Roughly 4 months after the baby was born Jacque called me and asked me if I would help or be part of the baby's life”

“I asked her for a DNA test so that I could comfortably be part of the baby's life and SUPPORT fully. She got very offended and Refused my request” he added.

Eric then told Jackie that he would take care of their son and become a present father after taking a DNA test.

“I don’t mind supporting the child but if you want me to be FULLY PRESENT and SUPPORTIVE if you want me to be a FATHER. Then we have to do the RIGHT THING!” He concluded.

Eric’s statement comes a day after Jackie exposed him for being a deadbeat father.

Eric’s Baby Mama Accuses Him of Child Neglect

Jackie Maribe, the baby mama of Eric Omondi, accused him of neglecting their son.

She did this after he shared a photo on his Instagram announcing a fake pregnancy with an upcoming musician called Miss P.

“I met this beautiful woman 5 months ago in an event I was hosting. Whatever happened, happened and I promised her I would take every responsibility. Children are a blessing from God.” Eric wrote accompanied by a picture of him holding Miss P with a fake baby bump.

Jackie commented under the post and said, “Responsibility? @ Cate Maribe come I can’t speak. 7 years of responsibility”

Jackie's Statement

Jackie also shared a post on her Instagram explaining that she is the primary guardian of their son. She added that she was asked not to disclose the situation between her and the comedian, and she would do that.

“I have an absolute love for this here son of mine, the fruit of my womb that I wanted. And I’m blessed to be custodian over him. Now, a lot of people have asked me to be quiet about what the real story on the ground is and I respect that” wrote Jackie accompanied by a photo of their son.

Jackie said that she would not publicize their issues because Eric is amiable and loved by her family and friends.

“I wouldn’t air any dirty laundry. A lot of my friends love him, and us, he’s such a charming person. My family adores him. So all said and done, and you can read in between the lines if you want” she added.

She concluded her statement by saying that she has solely raised her son and will continue to with or without help from the comedian.

“I’m hopelessly in love with motherhood. And as a single mum doing everything on her own, my goal is to raise a brilliant person, as he already is” She concluded.
