While celebrating her 37th birthday, Annie included an apology in her celebratory post on Instagram.
In the message: she asked her husband to forgive her for embarrassing him with her recent public outburst.

Annie expressed her remorse for the trauma that her actions inflicted on her husband and both their families.

“I want to apologize to my husband, Inno. I am so sorry I threw you out there like I did, (so unwise) that isn’t the kind of woman you married, totally sorry for all the mental stress and heartbreak it caused you, so sorry I put both our families out there I, the way I did” she wrote.

In the same post, Annie explained that her rage clouded her judgement and drove her to frustrate the people she deeply cares about.
“I let a lot of people down. Especially the people close to me. The last 10 weeks have been the worst of my entire life, yes the worst since I was born” she stated.

She also sought forgiveness from her mother and mother-in-law and asked them to forgive her for the embarrassment she brought upon the family.
Annie further explained that she was enraged, and she acted without thinking. She also admitted that she unpleasantly conducted herself, and she was unhappy with her actions.

“To my beautiful mothers, my amazing mother and my beautiful mother in- law. I am sooo sorry i let both of you down. No mother should go through the kind of pain that you both felt”
“I have gone from being so angry to being so broken and back to anger, and then sadly, which I am ashamed to admit - suicidal! I have acted so badly in a way i am not proud of, i allowed my emotions cloud me. I allowed my emotions to lead me into making bad decisions” Annie explained.

Annie also said that she has been going through a lot these past few weeks, and she would like to use her new age as an opportunity to start over.

Annie's apology comes months after she publicly accused 2 Face of cheating on her with his first baby mother, Pero Adeniyi, while in the United States.

In September, Annie took to her Instagram to rant and called out her 2 Face and his baby mother Pero for having inappropriate relations even though he is married.

Annie stated that she had made several sacrifices for the sake of her marriage, but her husband was not putting in the same effort.

Pero Adeniyi denied the claims and said she had not been in direct contact with 2 Face for several months.
While speaking to a popular, Pero said that she was with her boyfriend when the singer travelled to the United States.
“My boyfriend was even with me the last time I heard 2 Face was supposed to be with me and I was quite shocked and wondered if there are two Peros” Pero explained.

Pero added that she did not have the time to chase the singer because she was busy with her children and career. She also said Annie didn't have to involve her in their marital issues.
