Zari Hassan, the baby mother of singer Diamond Platnumz recently gave fans a glimpse of the most important man in her life.
The gorgeous socialite shared a video of herself hanging out with her father in her house in Uganda.
“I need to show you someone very important to me. That’s pap’s. That’s my dad. See how fly he is. ” Said Zari while showing off her father, who was seated using his phone.
Zari first introduced her father to her online fans in 2018 with a photo she captioned, "I am my Father's copy"
During an interview with True Love Magazine in the same year, Zari disclosed that her father was born in Uganda. However, his heritage involves many countries. She said his father was Somali, and his mother was a Burundian.
"My mum’s mother was from Fort Portal in Western Uganda, while my dad was Indian. My dad is of two origins as well. His mum was from Burundi while his dad was from Somalia. " said Zari.
In the same year, Zari divulged more details about her parents and upbringing during an interview with True Love Magazine.
Zari disclosed that her heritage involves many countries. She said that both her parents were born in Uganda.

However, her maternal grandfather was Indian, and her maternal grandmother was Ugandan.
While her paternal grandfather was Somali and her paternal grandmother was a Burundian.

In the same interview, Zari revealed that her parents separated while she was still young, and her mother raised her and her siblings all by herself.
She further explained the struggles her mother went through after her father left.
“My mom was a hustler, she raised all of us single-handedly. I remember her being overloaded with orders for curtains for almost all the hotels in Jinja. At the time, she was the best dressmaker in town” said Zari.

Zari said that her mother worked day and night to provide for them, and she always encouraged them to work hard and be consistent. She added that she had never witnessed such kind of effort from anyone before.
“She barely slept, saying she needed the money to feed and school us. I never saw that kind of hustle from a single mum at that time. I learnt so much from her. She will forever be my MVP.” Zari added.

Zari also opened up about the loss of her mother after she succumbed to pancreatic cancer in 2017. She said that the Doctors discovered the disease late, and there was little they could do to help.
“It was caught in its very late stages and there was nothing we could do to save her"
Zari also revealed that her mother shaped her into the resilient and hard-working woman she is today.
"We were so close, we talked about almost everything, and she taught me how to cook. I think my mom moulded me into the woman I am today, she taught me to stand strong in what you believe in, and to love yourself most of all.” Said Zari about her mother.
