Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz recently dismissed rumours of his romantic relationship with his signee Zuchu; during an interview at her Valentines Show.

While fans expected Diamond and Zuchu; to officially announce their relationship at the highly anticipated event, the singers denied any romantic connection.
Diamond Denies Dating Zuchu
When the interviewer asked Diamond why he decided to walk Zuchu down the red carpet, he said she is his artist, and their relationship is strictly business. He added that there was no wrong in accompanying her to her event.

Diamond also said that it was not the first time he had accompanied her on the red carpet. He said that he did so during her EP launch party, and he’ll continue escorting her for future events.
"Zuchu ni msanii wangu na sio mara la kwanza kuja naye red carpet. amekua sasa. Mara ya kwanza nilimleta hapa mtoto na sahi amekuwa msanii mkubwa so namleta tena” said Diamond.
Translation: “Zuchu is my artist and it is not the first time I have come with her on the red carpet. She has grown now. The first time I brought her, she was a child. Now she is a big artist and I’ve brought her again”

Diamond Talks About his Lover
Diamond also disclosed that he was dating someone, but he kept her name and identity a secret.
Diamond further disclosed that he was deeply in love with his partner and is happy with his relationship.

Diamond’s denial comes a week after; he and, Zuchu sparked new relationship rumours by wearing matching outfits.

Diamond and Zuchu in Matching Outfits
Before Zuchu’s event, she and Diamond had the internet debating the state of their relationship after videos of them wearing matching pajamas surfaced online.
Zuchu and Diamond shared videos of themselves wearing black pajamas decorated with white dots and red hearts on their respective social media pages.
Diamond wore his outfit while hanging out with his friends. In the video he shared, he was dancing with a glass of liquor while his friends cheered him on.

On the other hand, Zuchu wore her outfit for a radio interview with Wasafi FM presenter Diva thee Bawse.
Zuchu Denies Dating Diamond
In the interview, Zuchu denied romantic involvement with Diamond. She said he was her superior, and it has always been that way.
"Diamond is my boss. Not lover. He is the boss he has never changed. I'm not lying to you. He is my boss." said Zuchu.

Zuchu also disclosed that she was dating a businessman who was not a celebrity.
“There is a rumour that has been doing rounds. The truth is that I am dating someone. He is a businessman and he is physically fit. We have dated for slightly over four months,” Zuchu told Diva thee Bawse.
