7 COMMON INDIVIDUAL TRIBULATIONS IN PICTURES.

The images below are a clear depiction of the issues we keep wrestling with in our societies. Sometimes a visual message tells a deeper story that people can relate with hence causing apathy. The images used are from facebook and this is my own opinion on what the paintings mean. Feel free to interpret them in your own way. 

 1. Greed. Instead of working  Our economies are collapsing because the resources are being exploited for personal use, leaving the economy with nothing hence it's downfall. I see most of leaders and politics.

 2. Media is doing a lot of watching with less action.While things happen, cameras are pulled out but nothing is really done about the situation.Media captures every tragedy claiming it's human interest. They've turned  our newspapers into a book of  catastrophes and misfortunes. They are blinding us into thinking what we are experiencing is normal.

3. Too much talk less actions. During campaigns different politicians soothe us with audio promises. They tell us what we love to hear. They pamper us into voting them into power. Unfortunately, they disappear once they get elected. 

 

4. We see the world through social media. We live amongst people who trust everything they see online. 

5. Hurt by people we love the most. Most religions preach forgiveness. People often hurt us in different ways.  The only difference is that the pain imflicted by a loved one is heavier than that of a stranger.

6. Take a path that has been designed for us. This happens in so many ways. Society has this way of moulding us with so many rules. These rules are meant to direct us through the right path but they end up confusing us instead.

 7. What you see on the outside does not depict what's on the inside.I do this a couple of times. When i'm hurting or in so much pain, I wear the biggest smile when in public and weep in private. One might look happy and self-made on the outside but you never know what baggage they carry .
